Reset or change your FocusPilot password

Updated

Forgot your password? Reset it from the sign-in screen with a 6-digit code we email you. If you know it and only want a new one, change it in your Profile instead. Both work for accounts that sign in with an email address and a password; with Apple or Google, your password is the one for your Apple or Google account.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. On the first screen, tap Sign In, then Continue with Email. On iPhone, tap More options first.
  2. Tap Forgot password?.
  3. Enter your email address and tap Send code.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the email and tap Continue. If it does not arrive, Resend code becomes available after a short countdown.
  5. Enter your new password and tap Save.

FocusPilot signs you in with the new password straight away.

If the screen says “We couldn’t find an account with this email address.”, the account may use Apple or Google, or a different email address. If the code does not arrive or is not accepted, see Why didn’t my verification code arrive?

Change your password

  1. Open your Profile: on Home, tap your profile picture at the top right.
  2. Under Account, tap Change password.
  3. Enter your Current password and your New password.
  4. Tap Save. The screen confirms with “Password changed.”

If you get “That doesn’t match your current password.”, check the current one. If you no longer know it, tap Forgot password? on the same screen and follow the reset steps above. “That’s the password you already have.” means the new password is the same as the old one.

Password rules

A new password needs 8 to 15 characters, with an uppercase and a lowercase letter, a number and a special character. The Change password screen suggests choosing one you do not use anywhere else.
