Why didn't my verification code arrive?
Updated
A verification code usually goes missing because it went to a different address or into a spam folder. FocusPilot sends a 6-digit code to your email when you create an account with email or reset your password. The screen shows the address it went to under “Sent to”.
If the code did not arrive
- Check that the address under “Sent to” is right. If it is not, go back and enter it again.
- Look in your spam or junk folder, and in any other inbox tab, such as Promotions.
- Wait a minute. Then tap Resend code, which becomes available when the countdown next to it ends.
If you see “Wait a moment before requesting a new code.”, the countdown is still running. Try again when it ends.
If the code doesn’t work
“That code isn’t right. Check it and try again.” means the digits do not match. Type them again, and use the code from the most recent email if you asked for more than one.
If you are resetting your password
If the screen says “We couldn’t find an account with this email address.” before any code is sent, no code was sent. The account may use Apple or Google, or a different email address. See Why can’t I sign in to FocusPilot?
