Invite friends and use a referral code

Every FocusPilot account has its own invite code. Share it from the Invite friends card on your Profile. When a friend creates an account with your code, they get a free FocusPilot Pro pass and a discount on their subscription, and you get a discount on your renewals for every friend who stays subscribed.

Share your invite code

1. Open your Profile: on Home, tap your profile picture at the top right.
2. Tap the Invite friends card near the top.
3. On the Invite tab, find Your invite code.
4. Tap Share to send it through any app on your phone, or tap Copy to paste it yourself.

Share sends a short message with your code in it.

What your friends and you get

Your friends get a free FocusPilot Pro pass and a discount on their subscription, and you get a discount on your renewals for every friend who stays subscribed. The Invite tab shows the amounts.

Your friend has to enter the code while creating their account; someone who already has an account cannot add it later. How to enter it is below.

Follow your referrals on the Stats tab

The Stats tab in the same sheet shows what your code has done:

• Your reward: your current discount.
• Your referrals: how many friends are Active (subscribed now) and Inactive (joined, but not subscribed now), which plans they are on, how long they stay on average, and the longest stay.
• Who joined: the friends who signed up with your code. Until someone joins, it says “No one yet”.

A friend counts toward your discount while they have an active subscription. If they cancel, they move to Inactive and no longer count.

If the sheet says “We couldn’t load your referral details. Tap to try again.”, check your connection and tap the line.

Enter a referral code when you sign up

A referral code goes in during setup, on its own screen: Have a referral code? is the last of the setup questions, before you create your account.

1. Answer the setup questions until you reach Have a referral code?.
2. Type the code. Capital letters and spaces make no difference.
3. Finish setup and create your account with Apple, Google or your email address as usual.

The code is checked when your account is created. If it is not valid, FocusPilot says so and removes it, and you can sign up without it. Check the code with your friend before you enter it.

A code can only be added at this step. Once your account exists, a referral code can no longer be applied to it.
