Updated
To complete a goal or task, tap its circle twice: the first tap marks it in progress, the second marks it done. Undo appears at the top of the screen for about five seconds if you want it back.
Complete a goal or task
Tap the circle next to a goal or task: the first tap marks it in progress and the second marks it done. On a task, a third tap sets it back to not started.
When you complete something, Undo appears at the top of the screen for about five seconds. Tap it to take the completion back.
Completing a goal closes all of its open tasks.
For a repeating goal, the circle completes today’s occurrence only. To end the whole series, press and hold the goal and tap Complete goal.
Set a goal’s status
- Press and hold the goal.
- Tap Status.
- Pick Not started, In progress or Completed.
Where do completed goals go?
Completed goals move to the Completed tab at the top of Goals, or into the ⋯ menu while your Inbox holds tasks.
To bring one back:
- Open your completed goals.
- Press and hold the goal.
- Tap Reopen goal.
Duplicate a goal
- Press and hold the goal.
- Tap Duplicate goal.
- A copy with the same name and tasks opens. Check it and add it.
Delete a goal or task
For a goal, press and hold it and tap Delete goal, or swipe it to the left. FocusPilot asks you to confirm.
For a task, press and hold it and choose to delete it, or swipe it to the left.
Deleting removes the goal and its tasks. If you might want the goal later, drop it instead: a dropped goal can be restored. Missed deadlines: pause, drop or reschedule a goal explains how.
