Set notification times and quiet hours

Notification times are under Delivery on the Notifications screen. Open your Profile, tap Notifications, scroll to Delivery and tap a row to pick a time.

Set your notification times

1. Open your Profile: on Home, tap your profile picture at the top right.
2. Tap Notifications and scroll to Delivery.
3. Tap a row and pick a time on the wheel, then tap Save. The Mentor check-in is a list of choices and saves as soon as you tap one.

The rows are:

• Morning planning time and Evening reflection time.
• Today’s Read time. This row appears while the Today’s Read category is on.
• Mentor check-in: the part of the day when the Mentor’s daily check-in may arrive.

Set quiet hours

Quiet hours start and Quiet hours end are on the same screen, under Delivery. Quiet hours can span at most 12 hours.

If you pick a planning, reflection or Today’s Read time inside your quiet hours, FocusPilot asks whether to keep it.

A goal or task reminder set inside quiet hours shows “This time falls within your quiet hours.” with two choices:

• Deliver at this time keeps the time you picked.
• Move outside quiet hours moves it.

If you choose neither, the reminder arrives when your quiet hours end. The line under the choices shows when it will arrive.

Time zone and travel

The Time zone row shows your phone’s time zone, which FocusPilot uses for every time on this screen. After you arrive in a new time zone, open FocusPilot once so it picks up your phone’s new time zone.

A goal’s time works differently. In a goal’s time settings, Floating time keeps the time the same in every time zone. Without it, the goal stays on the time zone it was set in, so its reminders can arrive earlier or later where you are now.
