The weekly and monthly choices follow the date you picked. Move the deadline and they move with it.
How does Custom repeat work?
Custom repeat sets the rule in full:
- Based on: Scheduled date repeats on a fixed rhythm. Completed date counts from the day you finish it.
- Every: a number of days, weeks, weekdays, months or years.
- On: which days of the week, or which day of the month.
- Ends: Never, or On date (inclusive).
A task with no repeat of its own shows its goal’s rule as “Same as goal”.
How is a repeating goal ticked?
A goal with its own repeat rule sits under Repeating in the Active list. Its circle ticks off today’s occurrence only, and the goal comes back on the next day it is due.
To end the series:
- Press and hold the goal.
- Tap Complete goal.
In the Calendar layout, a repeating task appears on every day it occurs.
