Why isn't my health data showing up?

Health data usually does not show because FocusPilot has no access to that data type, Health Connect is missing on Android, or no watch or app records it. Work through the checks below.
1. Check that it is connected
Open your Profile (on Home, tap your profile picture at the top right). The Apple Health row on iPhone, or Google Health Connect on Android, says Connected or Connect. If it says Connect, tap it and follow the steps, or see Connect Apple Health to FocusPilot and Connect Health Connect on Android.
2. Check the access you gave
- On iPhone: open the Health app, tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, tap Apps under Privacy, then FocusPilot, and turn on the data types you want to share.
- On Android: open Health Connect, tap App permissions under Permissions and data, then FocusPilot, and allow the data types.
3. On Android, check that Health Connect is installed
If it is missing, the Health Connect screen in FocusPilot offers Open Play Store so you can install it.
4. Check what FocusPilot reads on your phone
On iPhone, FocusPilot reads steps, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability and sleep. On Android it reads sleep and steps only, so resting heart rate and heart rate variability do not appear there.
5. Check that the data exists
FocusPilot reads what is already in Apple Health or Health Connect. If no watch or app records your sleep, there is no sleep to show.
Where health data appears, and when
- Insights shows your sleep.
- The Mentor Brief starts reading health once it has three days of data, so a new connection takes a few days to show there.
